The East
Algoma Community Futures Development Corporation is a federally supported
not-for-profit organisation governed by volunteers in partnership with
FedNor to help develop and diversify the local economy through:
community strategic planning; business counselling; and investment in
small business. The CFDC jurisdiction extends from the Township of
Tarbutt and Tarbutt Additional in the west to the Township of Shedden
in the east including St. Joseph Island and Elliot Lake. Its
mission is to work towards a stronger regional economy while preserving
